PAYMENT DEPOSIT & FINAL PAYMENT: A 50% deposit of the package price is
due within seven calendar days of booking to secure your reservation, unless
guaranteed with a credit card. If you choose to purchase travel insurance, the
premium payment must be included with initial deposit/payment. Final payment is
due 60 days before the beginning of your trip. If final payment is not received
at that time, your space may be released; rebooking will then be subject to
availability and a $25.00 per tour fee.LATE RESERVATIONS: For reservations made within 60 days of departure, full
payment is required at time of booking. Within 14 days, a $25.00 late booking
fee will be assessed to expedite documents. Western Union, checks or credit
cards are accepted for payment, however credit card payments may be subject to
5% fee. Your agent will let you know at time of book whether credit card fee is
necessary.
CHANGES: Changes to a reservation after partial payment has been made will
result in a $25.00 fee per segment. Changes to air travel reservations will
result in a minimum of $70 fee and add collect if applicable.
CANCELLATION POLICY: Homer Travel Services will impose a 15% fee of total
package price for cancellations, once partial payment is made. In addition a
$50.00 per person administrative fee will be charged. Because we utilize many
different companies/vendors, of whom all have different cancellation policies
that do apply, please be sure and ask your agent the individual cancellation
policy of each vendor/service. Travel insurance is strongly recommended.
DOCUMENTATION: Documents include vouchers (when applicable) and a detailed
itinerary with maps packaged in a passport/document embossed wallet. Final
documents are mailed approximately three to four weeks prior to the beginning of
your tour. Documents are not sent until your tour is paid in full. There is a
$20.00 cost for all final documents, which are shipped return receipt priority
mail.
EXTRA COST PROVISION: If, as a result of inclement weather or other
conditions beyond our control, you are prevented or delayed from your vacation
departure or arrival and must book additional hotel or transportation
arrangements, the additional costs are solely your responsibility. Travel
insurance is again strongly recommended.
RESPONSIBILITY: Homer Travel Services of 435 Pioneer Avenue, Homer, Alaska
acts as an agent for various principals and is in no way to be considered as the
principal or operator of other services. Homer Travel Services is not
responsible for personal injuries, illness or death while traveling on a Homer
Travel Services itinerary.
HEALTH & DISABILITY REQUIREMENTS: Due to the limitations of medical
facilities, guests with serious medical conditions or women with pregnancy
complications or in their third trimester of pregnancy may wish to consult their
physician to determine whether travel is appropriate. Guests should also review
their insurance policies to determine whether treatment occurring while
traveling is covered.
