Nestled
between the base of majestic mountains, and the waterfront of
the Gastineau Channel is Juneau, Alaska's Capital City. Juneau is a

This
charming little "town" with less than 400 year round
residents, is literally surrounded by mountains, and is called the Gateway to Glacier Bay National Park.
Enjoy this phenomenal scenery by taking a flight seeing tour,
going sea kayaking, spending a day fishing, or bear watching.
Or maybe go biking or hiking. Some of the wildlife you're
likely to see here are black or brown bear, mountain
goats, deer and otter. n the winter and spring enjoy helicopter skiing,
snowboarding, cross country skiing, ice skating, winter King Salmon
fishing, wildlife viewing, the northern lights.
Located
on Douglas Island, this place has it all! Luxury accommodations and
spectacular scenery to boot! Situated on a private beach, you'll have the
world at your feet as you relax in your cedar hot tub. From this vantage point,
gaze at the incredible glacier view and watch for eagles. Choose from the
Horizon Apartment Suite or the East Gold Room. The Gold Room, comes with a
brass bed, and private bath, phone, TV and breakfast .
The Horizon Suite has a
fully equipped and stocked kitchen, queen bed, French doors, TV/VCR, CD player,

for your grilling pleasure and there's a fire pit on your beach! Relax after a
long day of sightseeing, and marvel at the panorama of the Chilkat mountains and

visit up to six glaciers on your way to landing on a living glacier. Gaze
in awe at icefalls, ice spires, glacial streams, and deep crevasses, as you
visit such glaciers as Herbert Glacier, Taku Glacier, or Norris Glacier.
Tour time is approximately one hour, including flight time and glacier landing

delightful lodge, in a beautiful setting, is the ideal place to just relax and
take in the scenery and local wildlife, or indulge your passions with a guided
eco-tour, park cruise, or fishing charter! Try biking, or kayaking,
too. The main lodge has six rooms with private baths, and each of five
cabins will accommodate up to four guests. Feast on local delicacies,
including crab, halibut and salmon, fresh home-baked breads, rolls, bagels and
desserts. Hosts will meet you at either the Gustavus dock or the
Airport, and deliver you to the lodge.

beautiful 45 minute boat trip across Icy Straits to Couverden Point, then
take in breathtaking waterfalls, majestic cliff walls, and wildlife.
You'll have the opportunity to see black bear, mountain goats, Sitka deer,
porcupines and more. As you get to the points overlooking Icy Straits, you can
often see Humpback Whales, Sea Lions and Seals, Sea Otters, and maybe even an
Orca. .
